The Students and Teachers in Hebei North University Helped to Bid the Winter Olympic Games

At 9am of 23rd April, Zhangjiakou city started a series of public welfare activities launch ceremony, with the topic of "You and I Should Come Together to Help Bid for The Winter Olympic Games " that saw thousands of people walking in the square. In the launch of the ceremony, the Winter Olympics ambassadors, Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo gave Hebei North University the previous Olympic Games limited posters, and issued an advocating to require initiative to do more exercise for bidding for the Olympic games. Subsequently, the guests together started the timer of the 99-day countdown to the Olympic games.
After the end of the ceremony, a team of 50 students from our school and the team of more than 1000 people, walked with banners and flags starting from the Cultural Square, passing by Business Bridge, and Liberation Bridge. They walked along the Qingshui River road and ended the whole activity at Dajingmen. The whole journey is about six kilometers. 30 students from our university formed a volunteer team, the team helped to maintain order in the field and guide of the route. The citizens spoke highly of them.
This event showed the enthusiasm of our university to help bid for the Olympic Games, inspired by the enthusiasm of our students and teachers to help the Olympic Games, and created an atmosphere that encouraged everyone to keep fit.
