In order to do volunteer work for the Olympic Winter Games in 2022, the Foreign Languages Academy established the Dongao Foreign Language Voluntary Service Department on March 22. The Dongao Foreign Language Volunteer Service Department will actively participate in various public welfare undertakings such as the popularization of foreign languages, event services, translation services, and event organization. Languages will cover seven languages including English, Japanese, Russian, French, Korean, and Spanish. The Volunteering Service Department has regularly held foreign language salons, lectures, foreign language corners, and activities such as Dongao Foreign Language Micro Classroom to teach students and the general public about foreign language knowledge, especially English expressions and everyday expressions related to the Olympic Winter Games, to improve the level of spoken English.
The establishment of the Dongao Foreign Language Volunteer Service Department not only helps foster more volunteer backbone forces for the 2022 Winter Olympics, but also helps improve the overall quality of the citizens and helps the Winter Olympics.
