Time management for MBBS students
Here are some tips of time management for MBBS students.
Weekly review
Weekly review is an important strategy. Each week, like a Sunday night, review your study, your work, your calendar. Be mindful when deadlines and exams approach, your primary task must go first.
Stick to a sleep schedule
If you want to manage your time, a solid sleep schedule is vital. A good sleep schedule makes sure that you'll wake up early in the morning and be energetic for the rest of the day. To keep a sleep schedule, go to bed and wake up at the same time each day, even on the weekends. You’ll have a good internal clock, and be ready for every-day study.
Set up Deadlines
When you have a task at hand, set a realistic deadline and stick to it. Try to set a deadline few days before the task so that you can complete all those tasks even something gets in the way. Reward yourself for achieving a difficult challenge.
Take Some Breaks
Whenever you find yourself for 10-15 minutes, take a break. Too much stress can take control on your body and affect your efficiency. Take a walk, or listen to some music. That can help you clear your mind and relief the stress.
Build a knowledge base
Whenever you solve a difficult problem, be sure to document it. Write down the problem and the exact solution. You might think that once you solve a problem you will never forget the solution, but I often find that the reality is different. So write it down, when a similar problem comes out again, you can save a lot of time and benefit from it.
