The College of Information Science and Engineering founded in 2009 offers Information Management and Information Systems (medical direction), Electronic Information Engineering, Information Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Electronic Information Science and Technology, Communications Engineering. There are five undergraduate majors: Medical Software and Network Technology, Computer Application Technology, Computer Network Technology, Electronics and Information Technology and Mobile Communication with the number of students more than 2,500 and 69 faculty members, including 10 professors, 16 associate professors and 35 teachers with master’s degree. The college has been identified in 2013 by Hebei Province, and got the title of the first comprehensive reform of college universities identified by Hebei Province Education Department. We focus on professional development of our hospital-speed development, information management and information system (medical direction). The college is Hebei Province key disciplines and has the right to grant master’s degree, in North China’s first open professional. In 2012, we undertook the National Science and Technology Support Program: “rural health service platform and application demonstration” projects and “rural health and telemedicine services Knowledge Systems and Applications” topic. In recent years, the academy has signed IT training cooperation’s with Oracle, Baidu, Google, Beijing Jia Kang beauty, Wuxi Mandela, Hebei and other well-known associated companies and large hospital, and builds a professional internship bases and laboratories. In close co-operation between schools and enterprises of both sides, more and more graduates find the ideal job.

Getting the degree of bachelor of engineering needs four years; the computer application technology specialist needs 3 years. We want to develop the talents who can engage in computer teaching in education, research, corporate, administrative departments, scientific research, software and hardware development, network design and maintenance of high-level expertise.

Main courses:

Windows programming with VC++, computer networks, database theory and application of computer organization, multimedia technology and CAI, compiler theory, software engineering, computer theory and interface technology, Web programming, JAVA programming, computer graphics, networking operating systems integration and network management, computer architecture, PB and database application development, SCM and its applications, computer network security, systems and project management, introduction to artificial intelligence, theory, and virus prevention technology.

Employment orientation:

Work in large secondary school computer teaching, administrative agencies and other computer fields.

It takes 4 years in getting the degree of bachelor of Information Engineering. We want to develop the talents who fully grasp the basic theory of information science and technology, the expertise and comprehensive capabilities of senior engineering and technical personnel information fields.

Main courses:

Courses circuits and systems, information theory, coding theory, computer theory, software engineering, modern control theory, communication systems theory, information network infrastructure, data acquisition, digital signal and information processing.

Employment orientation:

Information industry and other departments engaged in information systems research, design, integration and manufacturing.

It takes 4 years in getting the degree of Bachelor of Science in Electronic Information Science and Technology undergraduate. We want to develop the talents with the basic theory and basic knowledge of electronic information science and technology, who engage in scientific research in the electronic information science and technology, computer science and technology and related fields, and administrative departments, senior management of teaching expertise.

Circuit analysis and experiments, and experimental analog circuits, digital circuits and experiments, teaching information technology, databases and applications, computer networks, CT\IP technology, software technology, communication theory and experiment, the network database technology, multimedia technology, data structures, digital circuits and logic design, information theory and coding, electromagnetic theory, DSP theory and application of object-oriented programming, network databases, digital image processing, circuit CAD circuit analysis principles and so on.

Employment orientation:

Telecommunications, electronics, universities, research institutions.

Bachelor's degree of electronic and information engineering needs 4 years and electronic and information engineering technology specialist needs 3 years. We want to develop the talents who master signal acquisition and processing, electronic information systems and other equipment aspects, with the design, development and application of integrated electronic equipment and information system's essential ability of senior technical personnel.

Main courses:

Computer courses, courses analog and digital circuits, digital signal processing, electromagnetic fields and electromagnetic waves, communication theory, automatic control theory, information theory, control and information processing technology and sensing technology.

Employment orientation:

Electronics, information and communications sector engaged in electronic equipment and information systems research, design, development, manufacturing, operations and technology management.

Getting the bachelor degree of management in information management and information system (medical direction) needs 4 years; computer information management professional (medical direction) specialist needs 3 years. We want to develop the talents with a solid Medical foundation of knowledge, medical information management theory, computer science and technology, modern medicine and health management personnel.

Main courses:

Basic medicine, introduction to clinical medicine and other medical courses; computer theory, data structures and algorithms, graphics, C++ programming, VB language, Internet programming, database theory and application of computer networks, hospital information management, health care management and clinical informatics.


Employment orientation:

Medical and health system engaged in administration, information resource management, computer and network management, marketing management, and medical information management.

Being computer network technology specialist needs 3 years. We want to develop the talents in enterprises, institutions, administrative departments who engage in computer network planning, design, management, application and teaching of senior personnel and information technology teachers.

Main courses:

Digital circuits, network technology infrastructure, network media technology, dynamic web design, web database, network operating systems, network systems management, server management, TCP/IP networking, website creation and management, network testing and maintenance, network security technology.

Employment orientation:

School IT education, enterprises, institutions and administrative departments engaged in computer network planning, design, management, application, and maintenance.
